Marine and Cédric are native Mauritians who have been together for more than a decade. Their story with the ocean started long before Searenity Villas existed — in 2015, the two of them co-founded Vitamin Sea™, a private boat excursion company built on the same stretch of the west coast where the villas now stand.
What began as a small operation running private speedboat tours out of Black River has grown into one of the island's most trusted names for dolphin encounters, whale watching, and lagoon cruises — all built on a simple idea: that the best way to experience Mauritius is privately, respectfully, and without the crowds.
Marine and Cédric's daughter, Given Skye, was born in 2020, right in the middle of building Vitamin Sea into what it is today. Both parents are SSI Level 2 freedivers, and that same comfort in and around the water shapes how they think about hospitality: unhurried, close to nature, and genuinely personal.
Searenity Villas is Marine and Cédric's 2024 hospitality venture — a natural extension of everything they'd already built with Vitamin Sea. The same passion for the ocean that shaped their excursions now shapes where their guests sleep: four private villas just a few minutes from the water, designed for the same kind of calm, unhurried experience they've spent a decade creating on the boat.
